Virtual Machine using VMware

What is virtualization?

Virtualization uses software to create an abstraction layer over computer hardware that allows the

hardware elements of a single computer-processors, memory, storage and more-to be divided into

multiple virtual computers, commonly called virtual machines (VMs).

VMware: VMware Workstation is the first product ever released by the software company. It enables

users to create and run VMs directly on a single Windows or Linux desktop or laptop. Those VMs run

simultaneously with the physical machine. Each VM runs its own OS such as Windows or Linux.
